An Introduction to Litron and Lightman

This story is called "Lightman." It begins in a world far, far from the earth on a planet called Litron. There, there was a royal family who ruled Litron. They were a noble family and were loved by their people. They lived in peace.

They had technology that far, far surpassed anywhere in the universe; towering, weightless buildings floated in the air, juggernaut conglomerates of twisted metal that were intimidating but beautiful. There were no cars in Litron. They relied on sleek spaceships that could travel in space in seconds. Also having lasers that could shoot out of their guns and personal shields.

They had also developed this gene that gave them special abilities. Only a few royals had this gene and only the royal family knew about this gene.

During this era, the people on Litron had used so many natural resources that it was producing a lot of radiation. It wasn't safe there for Litranians and they had a short time before their planet was destroyed by the radiation. However, the Litranians had special shields, so they could breathe the air. The shields prevented the radiation from hurting them. But, their shields only lasted for 5 hours at a time.

During this time, the Litranians were looking for ways to destroy the radiation on Litron. There were also some volcanoes that were erupting. They knew that this one volcano would erupt on Litron. That it would explode in ash. Basically, the planet would not be liveable.

So, they started looking for a new planet. After some searching, they found that planet. So, they decided that they were all going to the new planet. But, there were evil people that did not like the royal family. They didn't like him because they wanted the power. They wanted to control.

In fact, they had a general in the army working for them, their top leader. The royal family had no idea that the general was working for the evil man. Anyways, when they were evacuating this planet to go to this new planet they found, the evil people thought that if they could get rid of the royal family, then the power would go to the general. Their plan was that the general would grant their family power.

The Litranians had to leave the planet quickly, so they put all the family and the children on the ship. Little did they know that the general sabotaged the ship.

The general had rigged the ship in such a way that it would blow up before it got to the new planet. Well, it turns out that the royal family was very, very smart—geniuses. They were the smartest people in the whole universe. So, of course, it stands to reason that they suspected that this was what the evil people might try. They had prepared life pods for such a circumstance.

A life pod is a little ship that carries people away in case something happens to the bigger ship. The royal parents couldn't get to the reactors in time before the large ship exploded, so they had to put the children in the pods. You see, the large ship was already in flight. The royal parents had no choice but to immediately put the children in the pods and send the children out to the safety of space before the ship completely exploded.

Then, the large ship blew up. No one knows if the parents survived, but we do know that the children went away into space. The pods put people into a coma-like state so that they could be in these pods for hundreds of years and still live.

We don't know much of what happened surrounding the royal family, but we can follow the children. The children, years later, ended up on a new planet. However, when they went into orbit, they actually got separated. They were just young children.

They all actually ended up on the earth in their own separate ways. This was not the planet that they originally wanted to go to. A meteorite storm had knocked them off the course.

All of the children ended up on earth. There were three kids—two brothers and one sister. The brother and sister actually stayed together, but the other brother was blown to a different part of earth. For now, the one brother is who we will focus on.

He gets adopted by a pastor's family because they found him in the woods by a crater. When the crater came to earth, it was incinerated. But since the boy had this special gene, he had special powers that kept him alive. No one knew that he had special powers for sure, but the family always wondered about the strange circumstances they discovered the boy in.

When the boy was around 18 years old, there was a solar flare. A solar flare is a lot of radiation from the sun. This flare knocked out all of the satellites. It knocked out all of the power grids. It simply just incinerated all of the electricity. Then, there was darkness.

While the government was trying to get back on its feet with electricity, the boy was in his town of Jackson, Wyoming. There happened at the same time to be a little boy there that went lost in the woods in the forest. The town didn't have any light except some flashlights and mostly torches due to the situation from the solar flare. The boy from Litron knew that he had a gift that he could illuminate the whole sky with his power.

However, his mom and dad, who was the pastor, said, "Son, we can't let anyone else know about your gifts. If we do, they'll take you away." Well, at this point, the government was all shambles and the boy from Litron was the only one who could really help find this boy that was lost in the woods. It was a small town, so everyone was looking for him, but there just wasn't enough light to really make a difference in the search.

The boy from Litron was out looking with them with a torch. He realized then that he needed to use his gift. All of a sudden, he flies up in the air. With his power, he illuminates the whole sky from darkness to light. In fact, the light was so bright that they could see it in other states.

As the boy was looking in the sky, he saw this dog. So he flew down and he grabbed the dog. The dog was tangled up with his collar around a bush and he couldn't go anywhere.

Then he unleashed the dog. The dog started running and barking and yelping like he knew where the boy was. So then Lightman flew back up into the sky and then made his light even brighter. This light was so bright that it illuminated half of the United States of America.

After this, he went out and followed the dog to the boy. The boy was there with his leg broken and stuck under a rock. He couldn't get his foot out because it was broken. Lightman came down and grabbed the boy. Lightman took his hand and put it right over the boy's foot. The foot healed instantly.

Then he told the boy, "What you saw here today, you can't tell anybody. You can't tell it was me."

The boy said, "OK."

Then Lightman transformed back to being a normal guy. He took the little boy back to the residents that were still searching for him.

After the bright light, everybody was wondering, "Where did this light come from? What was it? Who was it?" The mystery was there...
